Trouble Shooting Wifi Connection Issues
We use a Tenda F3 Ethernet routers. If you're experiencing issues with your internet connection, follow these steps:
- Check the WAN Light: The WAN light is the third last light from the right on the router. If it's off, the router isn't connected to the server.
- Verify Cable Connection: Ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged securely into the blue-colored WAN port (the first LAN port) on the router.
- Check the POE Adapter: Confirm the POE auxiliary adapter is connected to both power and the router. A blue LED should indicate it's powered.
- Inspect LAN to POE Connection: Ensure the cable from the router is plugged into the adapter's LAN port (marked 'LAN').
- Confirm POE Output: The cable from the 'POE' port on the adapter should connect securely to your wall faceplate or keystone jack.
